Scripps Sports Network Named Broadcast Partner for NWLA, UWIFF Championships

NWLA, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to growing Wiffle® Ball through both backyard and competitive play, announced today a new broadcast partnership with Scripps Sports Network that will bring the 2026 NWLA National Tournament Championship Game and United Wiffle® Ball World Championship Game to viewers nationwide.


As part of the agreement, Scripps Sports Network will serve as the exclusive FAST television home for both championship events, providing live coverage and replay opportunities for two of the premier showcases in competitive Wiffle® Ball.


The partnership will feature coverage of:


NWLA National Tournament presented by City of O’Fallon

Championship Game

Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026 – 6 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. CT

CarShield Field | O’Fallon, Mo.


United Wiffle® Ball World Championship

Championship Game

Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026 – Time TBA

WellSpan Park | York, Pa.

In 2026, United Wiffle® Ball joined the NWLA Tournament under NWLA, Inc., bringing together two of the sport’s premier championship events under one nonprofit organization serving competitive Wiffle® Ball leagues and players nationwide.


“We are thrilled to bring the 33rd Wiffle® Ball World Championship title game to a new audience this October via the Scripps Sports Network,” said Tim Cooke, United Wiffle® Ball Director. “The NWLA Tournament and World Championship are the two most prestigious competitions in our sport and we are excited for Scripps Sports Network viewers to see what this great sport is all about.”
